Name: Ezekiel Atkinson
Other Names: Zeke
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/him/his
Romantic/Sexual Orientation: Questioning everything, tbh
Significant Other(s): N/A, broke with his girlfriend Mel and his boyfriend Thomas several years ago. Still kinda sore about it.
Physical Description: 5'2". Short, coarse, dark brown hair that sticks up straight, large ears, deep-set hazel eyes, thick eyebrows. Covered in thick hair, most everywhere. He's fairly muscled. He bites his nails, so they're always short and usually have blood caught under them. Stretch marks on his thighs and back he's self-conscious of. A large birthmark at the base of his neck. His skin is an olive brown tone, though in the right lighting, he's told he could just barely pass as white. He has a smile that's sharp at the edges, but soft in his eyes. He holds himself a bit small, with hunched shoulders.
Shapeshifter Description: A large, light-brown canine with darker brown markings along the back. Looks like a wolf in structure, and a coyote in coloring.
Personality: Zeke was once introverted and awkward but friendly. He didn't make too many friends, but had chill relationships with those he had. He was known as someone who was generally up for whatever, whenever. He could make a mean mix drink, and liked being involved in sports and exercise. He kept to himself, but was always a warm presence when you needed him. He was altogether nice but unremarkable. His teachers would tell you he had passion locked away somewhere inside, but he really didn't. He was a drifter. Now, however, he's actively avoidant of personal situations. He's not mean or aloof, but he's even more awkward to talk to, and shuts down plans to be around him fairly quickly. People figure he's just sort of a private guy. He continues to be unremarkable. His coworkers who've known him for over a year wouldn't be able to tell you much about him, except that he doesn't like raisins, he probably played Super Smash Bros as a kid on his GameCube, and sometimes he laughs (and everyone makes a big deal out of it).
Likes: Hot apple cider, too many blankets, going camping on the weekends, very, very old video games, bluegrass.
Dislikes: Tedious conversations, direct sunlight, the sound of construction, the taste of burnt butter, instant messengers.
Parent(s): A mother and a father, divorced.
Sibling(s): Two younger sisters, ages 18 and 20, he no longer visits, and a half-brother, age 13.
Extended Family: Some, but he doesn't keep in contact.
History: Born in New York City to a relatively healthy household. Though his parents would divorce sooner rather than later, and didn't exactly get along, they did their best to create a safe household for him. When they split up shortly after his 5th birthday, they still continued seeing one another off-and-on. He stayed with his mother, who's part Jewish, and occasionally visited his father, who's white, but religiously Jewish. He grew up without his religion, however. His mom's mom raised her apart from her culture, and she grew up detached from it, and didn't have much to offer him. Though he holds his culture in high regard, he feels slightly awkward partaking in any of it, though he wishes to learn more.
Shortly out of high school, on a relatively routine hiking experience, he was attacked by a wild dog. Search parties found him the next day, bloody but seemingly uninjured. He didn't remember much of the event. Shortly after, he was approached by two shifters who attended the same film college as him, and helped him out. He lived a relatively normal life while at school and dated several people without trouble, and ended up in a year-long relationship with Mel and Thomas. However, he began to feel uncomfortable in his identity, for a number of reasons, and reached an early life crisis at the age of 25, when he decided to break up with his datemates and move to the west coast. Portland seemed like the easiest place to settle back in, so he picked up a shitty job and a shitty apartment, and has been uneasily alone ever since. Many people have tried contacting him, but he's been avoidant at replies, though he swears some day, he'll let them know what happened.
Current Status: Currently residing in southeast Portland in a communal house in which he rents a room and doesn't speak to anyone. He's generally "eh" about his life, and doesn't really have a direction. He's avidly avoided making friends, and people around him generally have a low/confused opinion of him. He sometimes goes hiking in the coast range, where he can be alone. He works at a local coffee shop which is nice, but has a lot of internal employee drama.
Extra: Probably has schizoid personality disorder or avoidant personality disorder idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
