History: Lyric was born in Long Beach, California, to James and Malin Wilcox. When she was six her parents separated, with her father walking out on them one night and never returning. After this, Malin moved her and her daughter back to Los Angeles to live with Catherine, Lyric's grandmother, and Malin's younger sister Ramona. While her mother attended night school, Lyric was looked after by her two aunts. Lyric and her mother have a somewhat estranged relationship due to Malin having been only eighteen when she had Lyric and not having been the best mother.
During high school Lyric was that 'popular cheerleader'; she was always the center of attention and was both homecoming princess and prom queen. She held the title of head cheerleader for most of her high school career, and was a member of student council. After graduating, Lyric roamed around LA for a bit with no immediate plans.
